Operating Modes Explained:

Switch Position Operating Mode Function
“N” Normal Mode (Mechanical) Used for vehicles with a physical ignition key.
“K” Keyless Mode (Push-Button Start) Used for vehicles equipped with a “Keyless Start” system.

 

Key Programming Procedure for Mechanical Key Ignition (“N” Mode)

Crucial Pre-requisite: Only the single key to be programmed should be present inside the vehicle.

  1. Set the device switch to the “N” position.
  2. Insert the key and switch the ignition to the “ON” position.
  3. Insert the programmer device. The Red LED will illuminate accompanied by brief acoustic signals.
  4. Wait for the Red LED to turn off and the beeping to cease. Immediately turn the ignition to the “ACC” position.
  5. When the Red LED lights up and the beeps resume, turn the ignition to the “ON” position.
  6. Wait for the Red LED to turn off and the beeping to cease. Immediately turn the ignition to the “ACC” position.
  7. Repeat the sequence: Red LED/Beep (ON) -> Ignition “ON”.
  8. Repeat the sequence: Red LED Off/Silent (ACC) -> Ignition “ON”.
  9. Repeat the sequence: Red LED/Beep (ON) -> Ignition “ON”.
  10. Success Indication: A distinct low-to-high ascending “Sweep” tone is heard, and the Green LED illuminates. The key is now registered.
  11. Turn the ignition off. The vehicle is ready for use.

Failure Indication: A high-to-low descending “Sweep” tone signifies a programming error. Verify the key transponder and the vehicle’s electrical system health.


 

Key Programming Procedure for “Keyless Start” System (“K” Mode)

Crucial Pre-requisite: Only the single keyless remote/fob to be programmed should be present inside the vehicle.

  1. Set the device switch to the “K” position.
  2. Enter the vehicle (with the keyless fob). Press and hold the Start/Stop button until the steering lock disengages and the start button flashes green, activating the ignition.
  3. Insert the programmer device. The Red LED will illuminate accompanied by brief acoustic signals.
  4. The Red LED turns off and the beeps stop. Turn the ignition OFF (press the “Start/Stop” button once).
  5. The Red LED lights up and the beeps resume. Turn the ignition ON (press the “Start/Stop” button twice).
  6. The Red LED turns off and the beeps stop. Turn the ignition OFF (press the “Start/Stop” button once).
  7. The Red LED lights up and the beeps resume. Turn the ignition ON (press the “Start/Stop” button twice).
  8. The Red LED turns off and the beeps stop. Turn the ignition OFF (press the “Start/Stop” button once).
  9. The Red LED lights up and the beeps resume. Turn the ignition ON (press the “Start/Stop” button twice).
